Content Rules
Version: 1 October 2026
Business pages, offers and events on Şirince.com must give visitors information they can trust. These rules apply to all content members add.
1. Accuracy
- Address, phone, opening hours, prices and amenities must be current and correct. Update your page when something changes.
- Unprovable superiority claims (“the best in Şirince”, “number one”) and misleading statements are not allowed.
- Do not use another business’s name, brand or images.
2. Photos
- Upload only photos of your own business that you have the right to use; stock or third-party images may not be presented as your venue.
- Where people are clearly recognisable, you must have their consent.
- Advertising images with overlaid text, logos or contact details cannot be used as the cover photo.
- Besides the business's own photos, venue pages may show openly licensed photos of that place (CC0, public domain, CC BY, CC BY-SA; from Wikimedia Commons and Openverse). They always carry the photographer, licence and source link and the note “This photo was not uploaded by the business”; the business's own photos come first. The owner can hide them from the panel; rights holders can ask for removal through the “Let us know” form on the venue page.
3. Promotion of alcoholic drinks
Under Law No. 4250 and related regulations we do not publish statements that encourage the sale of alcoholic drinks, such as “happy hour”, “unlimited drinks”, “free drinks”, “buy one get one free” or “open bar” offers. A menu may list product names and prices; offer texts involving alcoholic drinks are declined at review.
4. Descriptions and offer texts
- Do not put phone numbers, email or web addresses in description, offer or event texts; they have their own fields.
- Shortened links (bit.ly etc.) and text written entirely in capitals are not accepted.
- Offers and events are always reviewed before publication.
5. Prohibited content
- Unlawful, obscene, hateful or defamatory content;
- promotion of gambling, betting or other illegal services;
- content that infringes others’ copyright, trade marks or personal data.
6. Review and sanctions
New venues, changes to identity details (name, category, location, website domain), offers and events are reviewed before publication, usually within one business day. Content that breaks the rules is declined or removed; repeated breaches may lead to suspension. You can appeal a decision through the contact form.
