Terms of Use and Membership

1. Parties and scope

These terms govern the use of şirince.com, operated by — (“Şirince.com”, “we”), and the membership relationship. By using the site you accept these terms; membership is formed when you accept this agreement online.

2. The service

Şirince.com is an independent city guide for Şirince and its surroundings, with things to do, areas, guides, events and a business directory. Businesses can add their venue for free or claim an existing record; additional promotion features are offered in paid subscription plans, which are also governed by the Subscription Agreement.

3. Membership

  • You must be 18 or over and give accurate information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure; tell us at once about any unauthorised use.
  • If you act for a business, you confirm you are authorised to represent it.
  • You can delete your account from your panel at any time.

4. User content

  • Business details, descriptions, photos, menus and events you add (“content”) must be accurate and current and follow the Content Rules.
  • You confirm you have the right to use the photos you upload.
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show the content on the site and in promoting the site, ending when you remove the content.
  • New venues, some changes, offers and events are reviewed before publication. We may decline, ask you to correct, or remove content that breaks the rules.

5. Open-data records

Many directory records come from OpenStreetMap and Overture Maps Foundation open data and are shown as “Unclaimed record” with their source. We do not guarantee their accuracy; please report errors with the “Report” link. The business owner can claim the record for free and update it once verified.

6. Prohibited use

  • Unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing or spam content;
  • attempts to compromise the site’s security, automated bulk scraping or overloading the systems;
  • acting for another person or business without authority.

7. Notice and takedown (Law No. 5651)

For user content we act as a hosting provider. Report content you consider unlawful through the “Report” link on the page (reason: legal notice) or the contact form, giving the page address and the grounds for your request. Legal notices are reviewed first.

8. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. Businesses are responsible for their services, prices and the information they enter. Information about sights and in guides is general; check official sources before you travel. Liability that cannot be limited by law is unaffected.

9. Intellectual property

The site’s design, software and editorial content belong to Şirince.com. Photos are used under their own licences, listed in the imprint; open data is subject to its own licences.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will announce material changes on the site. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously breach them.

11. Governing law and disputes

Turkish law applies. Consumers keep their right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts; otherwise the courts and enforcement offices of Aydın have jurisdiction.
