Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and browser storage the Şirince.com website uses. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party measurement or advertising tools.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

Public pages browsed by visitors who are not signed in set no cookies at all. The session cookie is only created on sign-in, membership and form pages.

2. Browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage)

The following stays on your device and is not sent to our server (except members’ saved places, which are kept in the account):

  • kc_theme: Theme preference (light/dark)
  • kc_favs_v1: Your saved places if you are not a member
  • kc_favs_srv: An offline copy of a member’s saved places
  • kc_fav_hint: That the saved-places hint was shown once
  • kc_recent_q: Your recent searches (up to 8)
  • kc_install_dismissed: That you dismissed the “Install app” suggestion
  • kc_lang_hint: That you dismissed the language suggestion
  • kc_visits: Page count used to time the install suggestion (on your device only)
  • kc_tabstack, kc:from: Session storage: where you were in each tab when installed as an app, and page transition direction

3. Offline use

The site uses a service worker so that it can open offline; copies of the public pages, images and map data you visited are kept in your browser cache. Personal pages (account, panel, forms) are never cached.

4. Third-party map tiles

Map images (tiles) are loaded from CARTO’s servers, which receive your browser’s IP address and browser information with each request. Your location is only used in your browser when you tap “My location” and is never sent to our server.

5. Managing your choices

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookies you cannot sign in; browsing is unaffected.
